Introducing the 4 door family car from HELL!

The Mitsubishi Evolution has been through quite the cosmetic, mechanical, and comfort upgrades throughout the years and still it continues to grow even larger and meaner than its predecessors.

"Mitsu" had a lot in store for the "X" model and much anticipation from its fans. The interior was slightly changed to be more comfortable for the driver but still continue to feel like a sports car and still continuing the tradition of a family sedan in having 4 doors. This adds more room and comfort for your buds that wanna take a ride on the wild side. the car itself is designed for a rally type racer. and has a mean look with a rigid frame. The Earlier Evolution IX sports the godly 4g63 engine that has been around the united states for 17 years and will continue to be one of our strongest 4 cyl. for years to come. But with the newer EVO X Mitsubishi has designed a special 4b11 sporting a nice 295hp at 6500and 300ft lbs of torque, where the EVO IX had a comparable 286hp also at 6500rpm's and 289ft lbs of torque. To give you an idea of how powerful this car really is, the EVO XIII was able to keep up and beat Lamborghini's, Porsche's and Ferrari's on multiple events and tracks. Even though the numbers arnt that much greater the shear acceleration in the EVO X is so much greater than ones in the past. The reason? a slightly larger turbocharger and MIVEC(valve timing system) on both the intake and exhaust valves!, where earlier models only had MIVEC on the intake side. Both cars still sport a Mitsubishi All Wheel Drive system but the new EVO's transmission also gets a new upgrade; a twin clutch sportronic shift transmission (TC-SST) which allows the driver to make quicker upshifts without loosing a whole lot of engine power. And too sweeten the deal Mitsu has gave an option for a traditional console mounted shifter or the new steering wheel paddle type shift. And for those of you who are not stick friendly, Mitsubishi has pull out all the stops and has finally came out with an automatic transmission still including the TC-SST style transmission, even tho this takes away from the sport car type feel.

The Evolution has came a long way, and with the EVO X they did not overlook a thing. This car is still growing and the only way to look at it is, Its came this far, and the only way to go is a more powerful, faster, and sexier. Even if you are not a fan of import type cars you cannot pass up a ride in this one if ever given the chance! you have my word on it.

I give the new EVO X a 4 out of 5 hell yeah's!

I will add more to this post in the future..keep looking!

I think this was the car that Justin almost blew his load on when we drove past it in Birch Run.

I'm pretty sure I'd blow my load over this car if I were near it.
