THQ has decided to cancel the following titles.
1. The Playstation 3 version of Frontlines: Fuel of War
2. The Playstation 2 version of Destroy All Humans: Big Willy Unleashed
3. Any follow up to the Stuntman franchise
4. Any follow up to the Juiced franchise
Reasons for the Stuntman franchise being canceled can be attributed to the underperformance of Stuntman: Ignition. The same can be assumed with Juiced 2 being the reason for the cancellation of the Juiced series -- it's just not up to par.
Also, THQ has announced they are closing down Concrete Games studio, one of their subsidiaries that were working on an unannounced next-gen title.
In other news, THQ reportedly has two titles they haven't announced for the PS3 and Xbox 360 in the works. Speculation is running rampant that Red Faction 3 will be announced quite soon with it already been semi-confirmed through conference call with THQ investors. We are told the other title is a next-gen version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. that originates on the PC. We'll find out more within the upcoming months with the Game Developer's Conference right around the corner.
