"Compadible"...Dakota might get a kick out of that.. (Inside joke)

Anyhow...

The topic of my blog entry tonight is about making things compatible with IE/FireFox/Opera... These are the top 3 browsers used by people all over the world (to HTML/CSS Coders, it is a nightmare). Therefore, it is crucial to make templates and things of the aesthetic sort compatible with the "big three" as I'll call them.

Before 12:35 this morning (yes I'm putting in late hours Koda bear) this blogger site was not compatible with IE for windows, but strangely enough for Macs. So I basically added a few float properties to a few of the major CSS properties and called it good. Now it is at least viewable through IE for Windows.

I don't understand why the code was so complex...it really didn't need to be, and I HATE SPACER LAYOUTS! They are so retarded it's not even worth recognition (I guess it's too late for that)

I thought I heard that Dakota got the layout from a friend, but either way. If I were making a layout for mass production, I wouldn't make it so that it wasn't compatible with only one (and a half) of the major three browsers. I haven't checked Opera yet, but if Firefox can view it, Opera should be fine. Opera doesn't usually view the box model as messed up as IE does.

And going slightly off topic, (and this will end my blog post for the night) I'm thinking of getting my girlfriend this shirt...or just getting my girlfriend and her together with me...maybe...I dunno.

Either way, I just thought I'd let you guys know that you don't have to hide behind Firefox's "perfect" display and execution of CSS properties anymore...you can live on the EDGE baby! IE7 whut whut!

I'm just kidding...or am I?

Eh, a fellow blogger "lenjammin" did the layout and it was his first layout hes done for the site i guess he had to change around a buncha stuff and we didnt realize for days after it was up that it was not viewable from IE. He wasnt sure why and said he would look back into it but never did i guess. But anyway at least we can draw more non-mozzila users in

its a stolen lay out...i thought it was too complex as well. But i was too lazy to fix it. Plus, i am a mac user. Making me Elite to everyone. Mozilla mucho better. Period.

Meh, Macs suck in my opinion...atleast when it comes to doing office and word processing

But either way...I'm interested in making a layout for the site...I'll let you guys know how it looks at a later date
