I'll keep this short and sweet - Dexter is one of the best shows currently on television. Not only will it make you laugh, it will make you sad, angered, thoughtful, and provoked to put all the clues together to figure out the big mystery of the "Ice Truck Killer."
On top of all that, the finale for Season 1 has to be one of the best I have ever seen that didn't end with a cliffhanger (and I'll admit, 90% of cliffhangers suck since you are stuck waiting 5 months for the start of the next season to see what happen).
CBS will be showing Season 1 of Dexter this Spring, but I regret to say that it will be heavily edited due to the show's violent content, nudity, and vulgar language. But looking at the positives, it will expand the audience and get more people interested in this amazing show.
As for a quick rundown about what the show is about, the show revolves around a serial killer (Michael C. Hall from Six Feet Under) killing other serial killers in the greater Miami area. As a side note, it also stars Julie Benz as Dexter's girlfriend. Julie voiced Miranda Keyes (you know, the pelican pilot) in Halo 2. Julie will be starring in the upcoming Rambo film and The Punisher: Warzone (sequel to the first Punisher film).
Dexter Season 2 just wrapped up and Season 3 will return later in 2008. So, I highly recommend catching up as soon as you can.
